Former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles Captain joins Bosnian club


Former Flying Eagles captain Musa Muhammed has completed a move to FK Sarajevo in Bosnia.

The 24-year-old right back was a freekick specialist in the U17 and U20 World Cup for Nigeria where he captained Kelechi Ihenacho, Musa Yahaya, Taiwo Awoniyi and others scoring a remarkable 7 goals in 18 matches.

The Kano born defender joined the Bosnian club from HNK Gorica in Croatia where he made 20 appearances last season scoring and assisting once each.

Muhammed expressed his delight in joining FK Sarajevo at the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In a statement on his official Instagram account, Muhammed said, “So happy to be part of the big club @fk_sarajevo Sarajevo looking forward for more titles together.”

Musa Muhammed has played three times for the Super Eagles making his debut in a 2016 friendly match against Mali.
