Real Madrid Football Club has announced that the club president, Florentino Pérez, has returned negative COVID-19 results in the two PCR tests he has taken in the past 48 hours.
The club president on February 2, 2021, tested positive for the novel coronavirus after he went through the daily test conducted by the club medical doctors. Florentino Pérez was asymptomatic and went through the self-quarantine.
The renowned football administrator returned negative on February 22, 2021, to resume his normal duties for the club. Florentino Pérez will not travel to Bergamo for the Champions League tie against Atalanta but will be at Real Madrid City tomorrow to see all members of our first team off ahead of their trip to Italy.
It will be recalled that players like Eden Hazard, Nacho, and the manager, Zinedine Zidane all tested positive but has recovered. Real Madrid, are facing free-scoring Atalanta with only an outfit striker. The club has recorded 41 injuries this season. Karim Benzema and Captain, Sergio Ramos remain sidelined.
