Uganda Police Allegedly Arrest Election Observers For Setting Up Parallel Tallying Center

Uganda Police have been alleged to have caused the arrest of individual observers who have set up a tallying center in the Africana Hotel.

The polls for the presidential election came to a close, making ways for vote counting to begin

The Civil Society members who are believed to be part of the election observers are currently under the police custody.

Meanwhile the first set of Tally result is expected to be released by 9:30 EAT
